PREPARATORY COURSE FOR TOEFL    
 
Objective: To improve the English proficiency in the English language in an academic context and to take the test well with confidence and to gain high scores

Outline:

1. Practice for Listening: To improve the students’ ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America. This section covers
• Comprehension of main ideas,
• Comprehension of supporting ideas
• Differentiation between main ideas and supporting ideas
• Identifying important details
• Inferring skills


2. Practice for Structure and Written Expressions: To improve the ability to recognize language that is appropriate for standard written English

1. Practice for Reading comprehension: To improve the ability to understand short passages similar in topic and styles to academic texts used in North American colleges and universities by providing variety of short passage on academic subjects and making them answer several questions about each passage

2. Practice for Writing: To improve the ability to write in English on an assigned topic so that students can compose an essay to receive total scores
